Heartlinks Support Group

The Heartlinks Support Group met on October 1st.  Many topics were discussed including personal experiences regarding medication, post transplant rejections risks, sleep problems and the viability of prescription sleeping pills, family issues surrounding pre and post-op transplant issues, and others.

1st. Annual Pot Luck Picnic

Winnipeg Trap and Skeet Club, Oak Bluff,MB.

It was Cool and Windy, but that didn't deter Heart Transplant recipients and guests from attending the picnic.
Special thanks goes to the Winnipeg Trap and Skeet Club for providing the use of their fine facility, the indoor lounge saved the picnic and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Recipients came from various areas of Manitoba with their spouses and families, making the picnic a huge success.
Also, thank you to Shari Barker for being our guest speaker.
